Symptom

How to create and upload brand images in the Latest Home Page?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Resolution

1. Go to Admin Center >Manage Home Page >Brand Images.

2. Choose Create New to add a new image or click Pencil icon (edit brand image) to edit an existing one.

3. Enter a brand image name.

4. Upload an image (If needed, you can also enter Alternative Text in the default locale for each image. Choose (Translate) to add translations for other languages in the system.)

5. Specify who can see the card and when.

Target Group

Specify which user groups can see the image. Choose the selection menu icon to select the appropriate permission roles or groups.

Active Period

Specify when users in the target group can see the image.

  • Select Always to always show the image on the home page.

  • Select Date Range to specify a date range when the image is shown.

6.Save your changes. (The brand image is saved and is listed on the Manage Brand Images page. )

7. Before you enable a brand image to make it visible on the home page, preview it for both display types. On the Manage Brand Images page, find the banner and choose the preview      banner icon. In the preview dialog, use the Display Type menu to preview both formats of the card.

8. To show a brand image on the home page, turn on the Enabled setting.

The brand image is now shown on the home page, in the Greeting section, for the specified target group and during the specified dates.

Brand Image for Browsers:-

Maximum image size - 2 MB

Recommended Dimension - 1344x260 pixels

Brand Image for Small screens:-

Maximum image size - 2 MB

Recommended Dimension - 390x260 pixels
