How to Update Citizenship Status for I-9 Reverification Candidates (Migrated  ONB 1.0 → Onboarding)

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the To-Do tile in the system dashboard.
  2. Select “Complete Section 2 and Section 3 of Form I-9.”
  3. Then, open the affected candidate’s activity labeled “I-9 Reverification.”
  4. After reviewing the form, you will notice that the status button is grayed out and cannot be selected.

Resolution

  1. Go to “Manage Data”
    Navigate to the Manage Data section in the system.
  2. Search for I-9 Audit Trail
    In the first search box, enter “I-9 Audit Trail” and open the record.
  3. Locate the Candidate
    Search for the affected candidate and note the User ID.
  4. Open Task Actions
    Using the User ID, access the candidate’s task/action related to I-9 reverification.
  5. Update Citizenship Type
    Edit and update the Citizenship Type field with the correct information.
  6. Save Changes
    Ensure the updates are saved and validated.
