Symptom

  • Authentication failure when signing in via corporate IDP (SSO).
  • Previously working SSO now results in complete login failure for users.
  • Error message: "Authentication error."
  • Exceptions in authentication logs include: "java.lang.IllegalStateException: ... java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The idVal must be non-null."
  • Additional log message: "Invalid entities detected. FieldName=Name Severity=Error Msg=UsrSet_Name is required."
