3742271 - Not able to move country field from in-house address to other sections in Employee Edit view - SAP Cloud for Customer core applications

• In the Employee object, attempting to move the standard Country field from the In-House Address section to another section (for example, Organization Data) is not possible in adaptation mode.
• In adaptation, the Move to dropdown for the Country field lists In-House Address multiple times and does not show other sections.
• No error messages are displayed.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Navigate to Administrator > Employees.
2. Open any employee and select Edit.
3. Enable Adaptation mode.
4. Select the Country field in the In-House Address section.
5. Open the Move to dropdown for the field; only In-House Address appears multiple times and other sections are not available.

The Country field is not an independent field; it is part of the address composite and, by design, must remain with the other address-related fields in the In-House Address section.

1. This is a standard behavior.
2. Note that the Country field is part of the standard address group and is fixed to the In‑House Address section by system design; it cannot be moved to other sections via adaptation.
3. Maintain Country together with the other address-related fields within the In‑House Address section.
