• A dynamic onboarding group named "Department HOD" is assigned to two tasks: "IT Application Clearance - Employee department" and "Exit checklist - SMR IT (North India)"; tasks are routed to all recipients instead of only the respective department head configured in the dynamic group.
• No error messages are displayed.
• Issue occurrence window: 2026-04-13 05:16:00 to 2026-04-15 05:16:00.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Create a dynamic onboarding group (for example, "Department HOD") configured to route tasks to the respective department head.
2. Assign this dynamic group to tasks such as "IT Application Clearance - Employee department" and "Exit checklist - SMR IT (North India)" in Manage Onboarding and Offboarding Tasks.
3. Launch the relevant onboarding/offboarding process.
4. Observe that these tasks are sent to all recipients, not only to the department head defined by the dynamic group.

The current behavior is due to a product limitation where the restriction is designed to apply to the respective department head as configured within the dynamic group settings.

1. Acknowledge that the observed behavior is a product limitation and cannot be changed via support.
2. Open an Enhancement Request to propose changing how dynamic group restrictions are applied so tasks route only to the intended department head.
3. Monitor future release notes and roadmap updates for changes related to dynamic group task assignment behavior.
