3742435 - Add New Variant option is missing in Manage Archiving Variants despite having the required authorizations in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

In the "Manage Archiving Variants" app, the "Add New Variant" option is not available, even though the user has the required authorizations in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

To make the archiving object available in the "Manage Archiving Variants" application, ensure the following:

• The ILM object is assigned to an audit area in ILM Audit Area as per How To Maintain Audit Areas | SAP Help Portal 
• The ILM object has a live RTP policy in ILM Policies app as per How To Maintain ILM Policies | SAP Help Portal

Once the ILM object is available in the "Manage Archiving Variants" application, will be able to create/add new variant and schedule archiving.
