3742521 - Edit button missing in manage credit accounts despite catalog 'SAP_FIN_BC_CR_CRED_ACC_PC' assignment (S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition)

• The "Edit" button is not available when attempting to edit a credit segment in the Manage Credit Accounts app.
• The business role already includes the catalog listed in the Fiori library: SAP_FIN_BC_CR_CRED_ACC_PC.

1. Launch the Manage Credit Accounts app from the Fiori launchpad.
2. Open any customer credit account and navigate to a credit segment.
3. Attempt to edit the credit segment: the Edit button is not displayed.

• The business catalog SAP_FIN_BC_CR_CRED_ACC_PC requires the dependent catalog SAP_CMD_BC_BP_MAINT_PC. Without this dependency, the write authorization objects for business partner data are not available and the Edit action remains hidden.

1. Open the affected business role in the Maintain Business Roles app.
2. Confirm that the catalog SAP_FIN_BC_CR_CRED_ACC_PC is assigned.
3. In the Business Catalogs app, review the dependency tab for SAP_FIN_BC_CR_CRED_ACC_PC and identify the mandatory dependency SAP_CMD_BC_BP_MAINT_PC.
4. Assign the catalog SAP_CMD_BC_BP_MAINT_PC to the same business role (or to another appropriate role assigned to the user), in line with your authorization policy.
5. In the role’s Restrictions, ensure the relevant restriction types for Credit Management provide the required write access (for example, credit segment and other applicable objects). Maintain Business Partner write restrictions where available.
6. Save the role and have the user log out and back in to refresh authorizations.
7. Re-test in the Manage Credit Accounts app: the Edit button should now be available for eligible credit segments.
