3742670 - [1H2026] Cannot Search users in Global Search after activating "Enable enhanced people search"

Symptom

After enabling "Enable Enhanced People Search" in Company System and Logo Settings, a user cannot be found in the Global Header Search or Org Chart
When the setting is reverted, the user appears in search results again

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

Go to Company System and Logo Settings and activate "Enable Enhanced People Search"
Use the Global Header Search to search for the user
Observe that the user is not returned in the search results

Cause

Some users are not searchable in enhanced person search due to incomplete data load.

Resolution

For enhanced People Search issues, you can rebuild the search index yourself every 24 hours using Rebuild Company Index for Enhanced People Search under Admin Center > Scheduled Job Manager:

Go to Scheduled Job Manager
Schedule and run the job "Rebuild Company Index for Enhanced People Search"
Test it again

If this does not solve the issue, it might be related to a known issue regarding the Enhanced People Search.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed with the patch 1H2026P3 on May 5, 2026.
