Symptom

  • SAP CDP SFTP source mapping for boolean values not working properly: mapping a string field to isPrimary boolean field in emails or phones always evaluates to false.
  • Even when transformations (trim → lowercase → convert string to boolean) or string-to-boolean mappings (including default true) is configured, the isPrimary field remains false.
