3742735 - Service Quotes Line Item Opens Incorrect Product Master Data

 Editing a Service Quote, in the Services and Spare Parts section, clicking a product ID on a line item opens a different product’s master data instead of the selected one.

1. Go to the Service orders Work center
2. Go to the Service Quote view
3. Search for the service quote ID - ABC (ABC Represents the Service order Id)
4. From Drop down "All Service Quotes"
5. Search with your Service Quotes ID
6. Click edit and open the over view screen
7. In the Overview screen, Navigate to Services and Spare Parts
8. Line Item XX along with Product Id (XX represent Line Item number)
9. Line Item YY along with Product Id (YY represent Line Item number)
10. While double Clicking the Line item XX Product Id of the Hyperlink ,the Product Master Data of Line Item YY shown and Line item YY shows proper Master Data of Line item YY.
    
    

This is due to current system limitation on the Service Quotes for accessing the Product Master data.

This is the expected system behavior.

As a workaround, we recommend checking the Product Master data against the respective line items using the OWL, OIF, or FS screens to ensure the information is accurate.

4.FS – Factsheet
The Factsheet (FS) is a display-only overview of an object showing its key details.
