Symptom

When navigating to Materials view in Product Development work center and Product Data work center the page loads for a long time and a frontend dump occurs.

"Please try resuming your work. If you still encounter issues, report a case using Built-In Support."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Product Development Work center
  2. Navigate to the Materials view
  3. Loads for a long time and the below dump occurs

Cause

Sorting was enabled on the Date column in the Materials view, and due to the large volume of data, this is causing the system to slow down and crash.

Resolution

To Resolve the issue, follow the below steps:

  1. Access the top-right user profile icon
  2. Go to Key User Settings view
  3. Select Start Adaptation Mode
  4. Remove the sorting option from the Date column in Materials view
  5. Stop Adaptation Mode
