Symptom
- Users ask whether approvers can see an employee’s remaining time off balance on the workflow approval screen for leave requests.
Environment

Reproducing the Issue
- Submit a time off request.
- Approver opens the workflow approval screen for the request.
- The remaining balance is not visible; users ask how to enable balance visibility or control it via permission.
Cause
This is a customer-specific configuration request and considered consulting scope, not a standard product defect.
Resolution
- This is a consulting issue which relates to customer specific requirement.
- Just as a suggestion please try to configure a business rule on the Employee Time object and use one onChange rule on Start Date to calculate the employee’s remaining balance for reference like below.
- Engage an implementation partner or consulting to design how and where to surface the calculated balance in the approval context according to business requirements.
