3742787 - Custom thumbnail is not displayed at the Redesigned Experience for Curricula Pages

At the new Curriculum Details page, the custom thumbnail configured for a curriculum is not getting displayed. Instead, a default SAP image is shown.

However, the custom thumbnail is properly displayed when searching for the curriculum in the Library, and also from the Course Details page regarding items that are present in such curriculum.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Log into HCM >
2. Navigate to the Learning Administration >System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > LMS_ADMIN > and make sure that the following settings are enabled: enableLegacyUIReplacement, showItemThumbnailPhotosGlobally, and showSystemDefaultThumbnail >
3. Still within Learning Administration > Learning Activities > Curricula > search for the required entity and open it >
4. At the 'Image' field, upload a thumbnail for the entity >
5. At the Learning user side, make a library search to look for the curriculum >
6. Notice that the custom thumbnail is displayed as expected >
7. Click on the curriculum's title to navigate to the new Curriculum Details page >
8. Notice that in this page, the default thumbnail is shown (and not the one that was upload to the curriculum's entity in step #4 above) >
9. Accessing an item that's associated to this curriculum, notice that the custom thumbnail is shown for the curriculum at the 'This Course Appears In...' section.

Our Learning Engineering team has finalized their work on the situation, and the fix is tentatively scheduled to be applied within the b2605p6 release version. Workaround:

To see the custom thumbnail at the Curriculum Details page, the new curricula UI can be disabled by setting enableLegacyUIReplacement=false (at Learning Administration > System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > LMS_ADMIN).
