3742792 - Disqualification emails are not delayed when candidates are rejected due to prescreening questions when CX Apply is enabled - Recruiting Management

Symptom

When candidates are automatically disqualified due to prescreening questions, the delay email notification does not work. The candidate receives the email straight away. Issue occurs when the Reimagined Candidate Experience is enabled.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Enable the Reimagined Candidate Experience
  2. Apply for a job
  3. Answer the prescreening question with the wrong answer
  4. Email received by the candidate without the delay even though "Delay Emails to Disqualified Candidates" setting is enabled under Manage Recruiting Settings.

Resolution

Our Engineering team has fixed the issue and the fix will be available via patch on Preview: 26th May, 2026 and Production: 28th May, 2026.
