Symptom

  • The archive flag in secondary index table BSIS is not updated after archiving object FI_DOCUMNT up to a given fiscal year.
  • A large number of BSIS entries remain without the archive flag while corresponding BKPF and BSEG documents are archived.
  • The issue was observed during preparation for SAP S/4HANA data migration.
  • No specific error messages or error codes were reported.
