3743012 - Approval of workflow requests via Joule does not work for Concurrent Employment

The operation "Approve Employee Central workflow requests" using Joule is not working as expected.

• Workflow requests received on the concurrent account：Neither the primary account nor the concurrent account can approve it. 
• Workflow requests received on the primary account：Either the primary account or the concurrent account can approve it.     

Expected behavior:

• Workflow requests submitted to the concurrent account should be approvable by the concurrent account, and requests submitted to the primary account should be approved by the primary account.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Concurrent Employment

1. Ensure there is an workflow request pending approval that is assigned to a user’s concurrent employment.
2. Open Joule and prompt to process or approve workflow requests (for example: “I want to process the workflow request”).
3. Observe that no approval option is offered and the response indicates no requests need approval.
4. For comparison, repeat with a workflow assigned to the user’s primary employment and observe that approval is offered and can proceed.

This is a known product limitation.

Joule currently does not support Global Assignment and Concurrent Employment; it operates in the primary employment context only. As a result, workflow requests assigned to the concurrent employment are not surfaced for approval in Joule.
