How to restrict the creation of billing documents by Plant code using Business Role Restrictions in 'Create Billing Document'(VF01) app.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

No plant-based restriction is maintained in the assigned business role in 'Maintain Business roles'(F1492) app, allowing unrestricted access to all plant values during billing processing. 

Follow the below steps to restrict the creation of billing documents based on Plant:

1. Navigate to the 'Maintain Business Roles' app (F1492).
2. Open role *BILLING_CLERK (for example BR_BILLING_CLERK_1010).
3. Switch to Edit and open the 'Restrictions' for the role.
4. For Read, Write, and Value Help, set the access to “Restricted”.
5. In Assigned Restriction Types, choose “General”, then locate the Plant field.
6. In the Plant field, maintain the restricted plant(s) for the role.
7. Save the changes.
8. Assign the adjusted role to the target business user(s).
