Symptom
The labels defined for associated child objects in Configure Object Definitions are not reflected in the Latest People Profile.
Instead, a generic label such as “Record 1” is displayed for all associated child objects.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite 1H 2026
Reproducing the Issue
- Access the instance.
- Navigate to the Latest People Profile.
- Open a portlet that contains an associated child object.
- Select View All.
- Observe that, when grouping is applied, the child objects are displayed with generic labels such as “Record 1”, instead of the labels defined in Configure Object Definitions.
Cause
The labels defined for associated child objects are not rendered in the Latest People Profile.
This is a known issue identified by the Engineering team.
Resolution
The Engineering team has identified the issue, and a fix is planned for an upcoming release.
After the fix is applied, the generic label “Record 1” will continue to be displayed as part of the product design and will function as a label for each record. In addition, the label defined for the associated child object, which was previously not displayed, will be shown above the related records.
When multiple records are present, the display will follow this structure:
<Child Object Title>
"Record 1"
<Child object fields - record 1>
"Record 2"
<Child object fields - record 2>
...
The fix has not been patched yet. This KBA will be updated once the fix is patched and the correction has a planned delivery release version and date.
