3743300 - Card Help Icon missing for custom background elements when accessed via Talent Card in Succession Org Chart

Symptom

  • Card Help text is configured for custom background element cards in the Latest People Profile.
  • Card Help icons are displayed correctly when accessing custom cards directly from the Employee Profile.
  • Card Help icons are shown when accessing standard Talent Cards in the Succession Org Chart. 
  • Card Help icons are not displayed when accessing custom Talent Cards in the Succession Org Chart.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Employee Profile.
  2. View a custom background-element card and confirm that the Card Help icon is visible in the section.
  3. Go to Succession Org Chart.
  4. Open the Talent Card for the same employee.
  5. Open the same custom background section from the Talent Card.
  6. Note that the Card Help icon is not displayed in this view.

Cause

Bug/Code Defect

Resolution

The issue will be resolved by a code fix in the B2611 release, which will be released on 12-Oct-2026 for Preview and on 13-Nov-2026 for Production.
