3743396 - Users without permissions can view Onboardee People Profile sections showing errors in Full People Profile - SuccessFactors Employee Central

• A user without permissions is able to access all People Profile sections of an onboardee (pre‑hire).
• Portlets display error messages such as "Looks like something went wrong".
• Portlets display messages such as "There's no data yet" even when the user does not have block permission.
• For non-onboardee users, only permissioned sections are shown.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Proxy as a user who does not have Role-Based Permission (RBP) access to view onboardee (external user) profiles.
2. Search for an onboardee user using People Search.
3. Open the onboardee’s People Profile: observe that all profile sections are visible and some portlets show "Looks like something went wrong" or "There's no data yet" despite missing permissions.
4. Search for a non-onboardee user and open their People Profile: observe that only permissioned sections are displayed.

Engineering has provided a code fix for this issue, which will be available in May 14th in all environments.
