• Inbound EDI Sales Order creation fails
• Errors such as:
  • “Business partner for role Sold-To/Ship-To Party cannot be determined”
  • Message no. VP204 – Ship-to party * cannot be used
• Partner mappings are maintained in Convert External to Internal Partner Numbers (SSCUI 101300)
• Despite correct configuration, the system cannot determine the relevant business partner
• Payload contains descriptive values (e.g. location names) instead of expected external partner identifiers
