3743483 - Movement reason field greyed out for movement types 201/202 in goods movement app — SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The "movement reason" field is greyed out and cannot be entered in the goods movement app when selecting movement types 201/202 for goods issue to cost center.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the goods movement app.
2. Choose Delivery Other and select movement type 201 (or 202).
3. Observe that the Movement Reason field is disabled (greyed out) and cannot be entered.

1. In SSCUI 103831, maintain the required settings to allow input of Reason for Movement (for example, add the relevant user so the reason code and text entry is permitted for movement types 201/202).
2. Save the configuration and test in the goods movement app by selecting Delivery Other with movement type 201 or 202; the Movement Reason field should be editable.
3. If the field remains disabled, review SSCUI 103222 (Movement Reason Control) and ensure the settings for movement types 201/202 are defined as intended (for example, “+” or blank).
