Symptom

  • After upgrade, an ABAP dump SYSTEM_SHM_AREA_OBSOLETE appears in ST22.
  • The dump is observed immediately after application server startup.
  • The dump involves program SAPMSSYC and a shared memory area used by the ABAP Workbench (CL_WB_REGISTRY_SHM_AREA).
