Although the Master Inspection Characteristics are configured with a defined level of decimal precision in the quantitative data, the 'Record Inspection Results' application displays a greater number of decimal places during results recording.

1. Go to App 'Display Master Inspection Characteristic'.
2. Search for relevant Master Inspection Characteristic and open it.
3. Click on Quantitative Data.
4. Note the number of Decimal Places configured.
5. Go to App ''Record Inspection Results'.
6. Search for relevant Inspection lot and open it.
7. It is observed that the system records more decimal values than those defined in the Master Inspection Characteristic configuration.

In the 'Record Inspection Results' application, the displayed decimal precision is determined by combining the decimals defined in the Master Inspection Characteristic with the additional decimals specified in the “Record Results” tab of SSCUI 102456 – Maintain Settings at Plant Level.
