3743663 - Finnish National ID Validation Fails in Latest People Profile (History/Edit View) with “Wrong Format” Error

• Validation for Finnish NationalID is not working correctly after enabling the latest people profile (latest history and edit view).
• Attempting to save the record returns an error about the wrong format and the save action is blocked.
• Error message: "wrong format".
• An asterisk (*) icon is added to the NationalID field.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to an employee’s profile and open the National ID Information portlet.
2. Add a NationalID for Finland (Type: Henkilötunnus) with a valid format and attempt to save.
3. Observe that saving is not possible, an error “wrong format” appears, and an asterisk is added to the NationalID field.

• Known product defect in the latest people profile validation for Finnish NationalID

Engineering team has identified the root cause and developed a code fix for the issue. The fix will be implemented as part of the B2611 Release.
