3743860 - Switch to the new Table Build Experience" pop-up appears on Stories post Q2 QRC update

Editing a Story or Composite that still uses the previous table experience the bellow "Switch to the new Table Build Experience" pop up shows up:

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental." 

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.08

1. Logon to SAC.
2. Open Story or Composite that still uses the previous table experience in edit mode.
3. Notice the above mentioned pop up.

The new experience offers a more intuitive workflow for story designers, aligning closely with the Chart Builder, while also laying the foundation for future innovations.

• If you confirm the switch, the story or composite is loaded and saved in the new table build experience and a backup version is created, allowing you to fall back if anything unexpected occurs:
  
  • Troubleshooting the Switch to the New Table Build Experience
• If you cancel, nothing changes. The story or composite remains on the previous table experience, and if you save, you will not be prompted again until a future release. At any time, you can still initiate the switch manually using the table builder panel.
