3743870 - ECWK replaced by SCWK record when rehiring Contingent Worker - Employee Central

When rehiring a Contingent Worker in the same employment, and using the new hire date equal to ECWK effective date record, this record is replaced by SCWK record.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Navigate to Add Contingent Worker;
2. Choose the Start/Hire Date to be the same as the ECWK record effective date from previous employment;
3. Fill in the required fields > Click on Continue;
4. Duplicate check will be displayed > Click on Accept Match;
5. Keep filling the required fields and submit the Contingent Worker;
6. Navigate the employee profile > Notice that ECWK record has been replaced by SCWK record. Now the employee has two SCWK records and only one ECWK.

Expected behavior.

MDF objects do not support multiple records with the same date. Therefore, system replaces the ECWK record by SCWK.
