3743921 - RFQ/Quotation Fields Not Visible in Document Overview During Purchase Order Creation in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When creating a Purchase Order, the Document Overview shows “Request for Quotation (RFQ)” in Selection Criteria, but after selecting it there is no field to enter an RFQ number.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open app ME21N (Create Purchase Order).
2. Choose Document Overview.
3. In Selection Criteria, choose RFQ.
4. Observe that there is no input field for RFQ or Supplier Quotation number.

Direct RFQ/Supplier Quotation input in the Purchase Order Document Overview is not supported in the current design, which is purchase requisition–centric (missing functionality).

• In the current cloud environment this functionality is not available to create a PO from RFQ using ME21N App because  Document Overview is a Purchase Requisition-Centric Design.
• In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition the Document Overview (Advanced PO screen) is primarily designed for Purchase Requisitions RFQs / Supplier Quotations (direct selection not supported).
• Even though “RFQ” appears in selection criteria but It does NOT provide direct input field for RFQ number.
• If you feel that the SAP S/4Hana public cloud customer base would benefit from an enhancement of these functionalities you can raise a feature request via http://influence.sap.com
