• Standard account assignment "A" cannot be modified in configuration.
• The "GR non-valuated" indicator cannot be cleared for account assignment "A".
• A custom account assignment "Z" can be modified, but the user expects to continue using "A" with the same behavior.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The configuration cannot be changed for the standard account assignment category "A" (by design).

1. Create a custom account assignment category by copying the standard category "A" to a new custom category "Z".
2. In configuration for category "Z", adjust the required settings (for example, clear the GR non-valuated indicator as needed).
3. Update relevant procurement and asset-related processes to use account assignment category "Z" wherever the modified behavior is required.
4. Test the end-to-end process to confirm the expected behavior with category "Z".
