3744059 - Cannot Combine Multiple Sales Scheduling Agreements into a Single Delivery via “Sales Order Schedule Lines – Due for Delivery” – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, when using the app “Sales Order Schedule Lines – Due for Delivery”, it is not possible to combine multiple sales scheduling agreements into a single outbound delivery.

Even when the scheduling agreements share the same customer, material, and delivery date, the system creates separate outbound deliveries, whereas the combination is possible when using the app “Create Outbound Delivery with Order Reference”.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create two Sales Scheduling Agreements with the same customer, material, and schedule line date.
2. Open the app “Create Outbound Delivery with Order Reference” and verify that multiple Sales Scheduling Agreements can be combined into a single outbound delivery.
3. Open the app “Sales Order Schedule Lines – Due for Delivery” and attempt to create the outbound delivery.
4. Observe that the system creates separate deliveries and does not combine multiple Sales Scheduling Agreements into a single delivery.

In the app “Sales Order Schedule Lines – Due for Delivery”, the delivery creation behavior depends on the execution mode selected. When using Dialog (Create Single Delivery in Dialog), the system processes each selected reference document individually, resulting in one outbound delivery per document and preventing combination.

To combine multiple documents, use Background Processing instead of Dialog, this mode enables the combination of multiple Sales Scheduling Agreements into a single outbound delivery. 

Alternatively, use the app “Create Outbound Delivery with Order Reference”, which supports combining multiple reference documents by design.

Additionally, ensure that the “Order Combination” indicator is correctly maintained in the business partner master data, as this setting is required to allow document combination.
