3744081 - Error "CMR/SDF with ARM active must be part of a returns process" when creating SD2 order through VA01

When creating a subsequent delivery free of charge of type SD2, the following error shows:

• CMR/SDF with ARM active must be part of a returns process (Message no. CX_MSR_TRC136) 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open app "Create Sales Documents" (VA01).
2. Enter order type SD2
3. Enter order information and press enter
4. Observe the error: "CMR/SDF with ARM active must be part of a returns process".

Subsequent deliveries free of charge (order type SD2) cannot be created without referencing a returns order (order type CBAR).

In VA01, choose "Create with Reference" and enter a relevant returns order (CBAR) as the reference to create the SD2 document.

Alternatively, use the delivery free of charge order type CBFD, which does not require a reference.
