Symptom

SAC Enterprise Live Data Connection Fails with 401 unauthorized error when trying to connect to V2 tenant.

Environment

SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

1. Login to V2 tenant via SSO
2. Open SAC in another browser via sso
3. Navigate to connection > click on "+" > Live Connection > SAP Cloud Application.
4. In the dialog, select SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2.
5. Enter Application URL https://V2 tenant url/sap/c4c/api/v1/ana-story-service.
6. Observe that a 401 Unauthorized error occurs.
7. Click on the URL in Popup, the error message disappears, and "Message not sent" is seen in the console

Cause

 Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) Settings are not maintained appropriately in the V2 system settings.

Resolution

  1. Please go to System Settings 
  2. Users and Control 
  3. Settings
  4. Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) Settings
  5. Here, it is maintained as Strict for third party integration

Please maintain it as None & after that try to create the live connection, then it will work.
