3744305 - Unable to delete view in 'Manage Views' in the Production Tenant - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• User is unable to delete a view they created in 'Manage Views' section of SmartVariant.
• The delete (trash) icon does not appear in 'Manage Views'.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Manage Purchase Orders app (example application).
2. Click the variant dropdown (e.g. "Standard").
3. Open 'Manage Views'.
4. Attempt to delete the view; the delete (trash) icon is not visible.

The view was created in the Development System and transported to Production tenant.

It is not possible to delete a transported view in the Production tenant unless it was created in Production.

1. Identify that the affected view is part of a transported change (for example, via the Extensibility Inventory in the development tenant).
2. In the Development System, delete the view using the Manage Views functionality (or the relevant key user tool where the view was created).
3. Include the deletion in the appropriate software collection.
4. Re-transport the software collection through the system landscape to remove the view from Production.
