3744349 - Print Certificate button redirects to the SuccessFactors Home Page after completing a SCORM content

After successfully completing a SCORM content or verifying course completion, users will see a "Congratulations!" pop-up with the option to "Print Certificate". When they click this button, they will be redirected to the SuccessFactors Home Page instead of the expected certificate printing page.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Open My Learning
2. Launch a course with SCORM content
3. Complete it successfully
4. Click "Print Certificate" on the completion pop-up
5. SuccessFactors Home Page will open in a new window

• When finishing the course, the content file not only sends the "completed" or "passed" status, but an additional "logout" parameter is sent in the SCORM API communication to Learning. This parameter is interpreted as a command to terminate the user session.
• As a result, when the user navigates away from the course page, the session must first be re-established before accessing Learning again. This is why an automatic redirection occurs.

• As the root cause lies in the structure and communication of the third-party content file, it must be addressed and resolved by the content vendor.
• SAP SuccessFactors Learning has no control over the behavior of a third-party content once it is launched. It only serves as a delivery platform, displaying the content but not controlling its communication.
