3744398 - MS Teams Application allows adding attributes from personalized recommendations despite Growth Portfolio permissions disabled

Symptom

Users without permissions to add or edit attributes in Growth Portfolio are able to do this in App for Microsoft Teams - Recommended for You section. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Growth Portfolio

SAP SuccessFactors App for Microsoft Teams

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Growth Portfolio in SuccessFactors and confirm that add/edit actions are not active due to the permissions set.
  2. Open the SAP SuccessFactors App for Microsoft Teams and navigate to Personalized Recommendations (“Recommended for You”).
  3. Observe that “Add” (and “Skip”) actions are available.
  4. Click “Add” and verify that the attribute is added to the user’s Growth Portfolio.

Resolution

The solution of this issue is planned to be applied to preview and production systems on May 15th 2026.
