3744401 - NY state tax form employer section option missing after 1H 2026 release

Symptom

  • After the 1H 2026 release, the employer section for the NY State Tax Form is not available in Onboarding Compliance 2.0.
  • When testing with a candidate, the system does not present an option for the employer to complete the employer section.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Initiate Onboarding for a candidate and navigate to Compliance 2.0 country forms.
  2. Open the NY State Tax Form task in the compliance checklist.
  3. Attempt to access or complete the employer section of the form.
  4. Observe that the option for the employer to complete the employer section is missing.

Cause

The 1H 2026 enhancement introduces support for Employer Section fields within the form framework for certain US state forms.

However:

  • The enhancement is form capability only
  • It does not include a standard workflow step or UI action for HR users
  • The system does not automatically create a task for HR to complete the employer section

Resolution

This is expected system behavior.

Enhancement Request

  • If a standard HR UI/task is required, submit a request via the SAP Influence portal
