3744403 - Error code 400 occurring when opening MDF Object custom view in Compensation

After creating a MDF Object and linking it to a custom view in Design Worksheet for your compensation template, when opening this custom view in the worksheet or executive review, the view fails to load and display any data.

Instead, an error code 400 is displayed.

Error content:

“Looks like something went wrong. Please try again. If the issue persists, contact your system administrator. Error Code: 400”.

The question mark information icon also reads as “The resource name cust_<object_name> is invalid. Do not include the cust_prefix.”

The related custom MDF card works normally in Latest People Profile without error.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Within your compensation template, create a Custom View in Design Worksheet that is linked to an MDF Object
2. Create a worksheet
3. Go into the worksheet or executive review
4. Click the three dots beside an employee's name
5. Select the custom view

Observe that the view displays an error code 400 and does not load the MDF fields.

The fix for this issue in preview system is planned to be fixed on the 28th April 2026.
