3744424 - Error "500 SAP Internal Server Error" When Selecting Rejected Web Service Calls in Business Communication Monitoring

When selecting Rejected Web Services Calls from the dropdown in Business Communication Monitoring, system displays the error "500 SAP Internal Server Error"

1. Go to Application and User management Work center
   2.Go to Business Communication Monitoring view
   3.Select the 'Rejected Web service calls' from the Dropdown
   "500 SAP Internal Server Error" Dump occurs
   
   

A very high volume of entries exists in Business Communication Monitoring stuck in rejected web service call and this is a very high to load. As this is huge number of records, it is a standard behavior.

Once the message's retention period is over and is removed from the system and has less number of messages that doesn't cause memory load issue, the dump no longer occurs.

Each Business Communication Monitoring message has a retention period. The web service call messages has high retention period, once the period gets over these messages gets automatically removed from the system.
However, deleting these messages before their retention period expires can cause inconsistencies in the process and is not recommended.

As a workaround 

1. Go to Application and User Management Work center
2. Go to Business Communication Monitoring view
3. From the dropdown, select “All Business Messages”.
4. Open Advanced Filter and narrow down by criteria such as Business Document, Status, time range, or interface, then run the query to review messages.
5. If needed, use Application and User Management > Web Service Message Monitoring to review inbound/outbound web service errors.

Note:
Do not delete web service call messages before their retention period ends; early deletion can cause process inconsistencies.
Allow the retention mechanism to age out old entries; once the overall count reduces, the “Rejected Web Service Calls” query should load without errors.
