Symptom
The Executive Review “Bonus Payout Summary” export does not match the values displayed in Executive Review. For certain columns, the exported data appears as N/A or zero instead of the expected values.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
- SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
- SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Compensation.
- Open Executive Review.
- Select a Variable Pay template.
- Select and export “Bonus Payout Summary”.
- Observe that assignment-level fields appear as N/A/zero or differ from what is expected, while “Bonus Payout Details” shows the correct assignment data.
Cause
For assignment-based Variable Pay programs, the Bonus Payout Summary export pulls entry-level (employee-level) fields rather than assignment-level data. As a result, assignment-based values appear as N/A or zero in the Summary export, whereas the Details export shows them correctly.
Resolution
- Use the “Bonus Payout Details” export to report on assignment-level values for assignment-based Variable Pay programs.
- If you must use the “Bonus Payout Summary” export, ensure the required values are modeled and populated as entry-level (employee-level) fields before launching worksheets so that the Summary can reflect them.
