3744452 - HTTP 500 error and no metrics received when sending health metrics via the Cloud ALM Raw Data Inbound Metrics API to Health Monitoring

Symptom

  • Non-SAP database metrics sent via OpenTelemetry are not visible in Cloud ALM Health Monitoring.
  • Health Monitoring pull API statistics show mixed response codes (500, 202, 200).
  • OpenTelemetry exporter logs show “HTTP 500 Internal Server Error”.
  • Error details include: “not retryable error: Permanent error: rpc error: code = Unknown desc = error exporting items … responded with HTTP Status Code 500”.
