3744629 - Accessing Rehire Match from To-Do list leads directly to Review Rehire Data instead of Profile Match — Onboarding

Symptom

  • Accessing via the To-Do list navigates directly to “Review Rehire Data” without allowing selection between old or new employment.
  • Accessing via the Employment Profile Selection home page card allows selection between old or new employment.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. The candidate is identified as a rehire match.
  2. When accessed from the To-Do list, the system navigates directly to Review Rehire Data without prompting for employment selection.
  3. When accessed via the Employment Profile Selection home page, the system displays Profile Match Verification, allowing the user to choose between the old or new employment record.

Cause

This behavior is expected by design, as the candidate has already been accepted as a rehire with old employment once.

Resolution

If a candidate is accepted for rehire with old employment (whether initiated from the home page or the To-Do list), any subsequent access to that same record from the To-Do list will take you directly to the Review Rehire Data page.
