When sorting candidates, only up to 500 applicants can be sorted at a time; attempting to sort a larger list (for example, 1000+) shows the warning: "You can sort up to 500 applicants. Please refine your list by using 'Status and Filters'."

1. Open the latest/new Applicant Workbench.
2. Navigate to a requisition or filter view where more than 500 applicants are in the "New" status.
3. Attempt to sort the list by any available field.
4. Observe the warning: "You can sort up to 500 applicants. Please refine your list by using 'Status and Filters'."

The latest Applicant Workbench is designed to limit sorting and display to a maximum of 500 applicants at a time; there is no configuration available to increase this limit.

1. Use Status and Filters to narrow the applicant list to 500 or fewer (for example, filter by status, additional criteria, or date ranges) and then perform the sort.
2. Repeat the filtering and sorting for additional subsets until all required applicants have been processed.
3. Note: As of the 2H2025 release, the limit was increased from 150 to 500 applicants; it cannot be increased further via configuration.
