3744838 - Comments were not loaded error when opening story page - SAP Analytics Cloud

• Comments were not loaded error occurs.
• Error message in HAR traces/console logs: "Dimension XXXX does not exist" / "DIMENSION_NOT_EXIST".

1. Open the story.
2. Open the impacted story page that contains data point comments.
3. Observe that an error appears and comments are not loaded.
   1. Comments were not loaded.
   2. "Dimension XXXX does not exist" / "DIMENSION_NOT_EXIST" in console.

A dimension that was part of the table’s data context when the data point comments were created was later removed from the model. Because comments depend on the full data context (including visible dimensions and filters), the system cannot resolve the context and returns DIMENSION_NOT_EXIST.

1. Verify whether any dimensions that were previously visible/used in the table (when the comments were created) have been deleted or renamed in the model.
2. Recreate the impacted table (insert a new table and configure it with the current model structure) so that its data context no longer references the removed dimension.
3. Validate that the error no longer appears when opening the story page.
