3744857 - "Value driver tree not found" when opening a Story

Symptom

Some Stories with Value Drive Tree(VDT) can't be displayed with the error "Value driver tree not found".

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud 1.0

Reproducing the Issue

- Try to open a Story with some VDT.

- The error "Value driver tree not found" displays.

Cause

There is an inconsistency in the used model. Technically the model doesn't accept as many story calculations for data queries as it is configured to do, which causes the error.

Resolution

Open the model in the model editor , the underlying artifacts will get automatically validated and regenerated. This solves the issue.
