3744889 - SSR Memory Leaks and Bot Request Failures Following Angular Upgrade from 19.2.20 to 19.2.21 in SAP Commerce Cloud

Symptom

  • SSR memory leaks and increased memory consumption on jsapps-ssr pods observed after upgrading to a new build
  • Requests from bots and crawlers (user agents containing "bot") fail or hang when routed through Server-Side Rendering (SSR)
  • Regular customer traffic served via Client-Side Rendering (CSR) is completely unaffected
  • Rolling back to the previous build immediately resolves the memory leak and request failures
