Symptom
When a catalog item is created in the Manage Catalog Items application with a price value that uses the full precision of its underlying field (up to 23 digits, 4 decimal places), and that item is later added to a Purchase Requisition via Manage Purchase Requisitions – Professional or My Purchase Requisitions using the Cross Catalog Search , the system throws a runtime dump. This only happens when the catalog item's price exceeds the value range supported by the PR's price field.
Affected applications:
- Manage Catalog Items (item creation side)
- Manage Purchase Requisitions – Professional (consumption side)
- My Purchase Requisitions (consumption side)
