3745207 - Latest People Profile – Personal Information: Edit Pencil Not Visible for Future-Dated Hire - 1H 2026

• In the Latest People Profile, the Edit (pencil) icon is not displayed on the Personal Information card when the As of Date is set to Today for a future-dated hire.
• When the As of Date is changed to the employee’s effective hire date, the Edit (pencil) icon becomes visible as expected.
• The behavior started after the 1H 2026 release.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

1. Create or identify a future-dated hire.
2. Go to the People Profile for that user.
3. Find the Personal Information card.
4. Set the As of Date to Today and observe the Edit (pencil) icon is not shown.
5. Change the As of Date to the user’s effective hire date and observe the Edit (pencil) icon appears.

Issue is currently under investigation by SAP Engineering team.

• The fix for this issue is currently under investigation. Please follow this KBA for updates.
• As a temporary workaround, set the As of Date to the employee’s effective hire date to display the Edit (pencil) icon and perform the edit.
• Alternatively, with As of Date set to Today, open History on the Personal Information card and select Edit on the relevant record.
