3745243 - How to rewire your existing SAC tenant to Business Data Cloud (BDC)

• You wish to rewire your existing provisioned and SAP Analytics Cloud systems to the SAP Business Data Cloud.
• After purchasing Business Data Cloud, the SAC tenant is not automatically rewired to BDC.
• In SAP for me in Portfolio & Products under Business Data Cloud, the SAC tenant does not appear.

1. Sign in to SAP for me.
2. Navigate to Portfolio & Products.
3. Open the Business Data Cloud card and go to the Resources tab.
4. Observe that the SAC tenant is not listed and rewiring to BDC has not occurred.

Automatic rewiring depends on the SAC consumption model; for SAP-managed subscription deployments, rewiring requires updating the subscription to SAP Business Data Cloud and is not performed automatically.

To summarize, there are two main options for this and it depends on which consumption model you are using:

1. If the SAC deployment is subscription-based with SAP-managed and provisioned systems, then contact your SAP Account Executive to update the existing subscription to SAP Business Data Cloud. More details at the link above.
2. If the SAC deployment is subscription-based under CPEA/BTPEA/PAYG with self-service provisioning via a BTP global account, then you can rewire your existing self-service provisioned SAC tenant to BDC. See above link for steps.
