3745244 - Snowflake table with vector column cannot be added to IDT data Foundation: non-vector fields become inaccessible

Symptom

  • A table that contains a VECTOR type field does not load into the Data Foundation, which prevents selecting other required fields from the same table.
  • The VECTOR column is not needed in the universe, but its presence blocks loading the table into the Data Foundation and subsequently into the Business Layer.
  • Error:  "The following database error occurred: (CS) "Java Exception : java.lang.RuntimeException: com.sap.connectivity.cs.core.CSError: com.sap.connectivity.cs.core.CSError: Bad Value for Field .
