3745357 - Save/Save As button grayed out in Data Analyzer for users with viewer role

• Users with the BI CONTENT VIEWER role cannot save Data Analyzer Insights in their private folder or other folders they are authorized to save. 
• The Save/Save As option in Data Analyzer is grayed out for them 

SAP Analytics Cloud

1. Create a Data Analyzer insight and share it with other users.
2. Log in as another user assigned to a viewer role and open the shared insight.
3. Attempt to save or save as; observe that the Save/Save As option is grayed out.

• The assigned role to affected users does not include the Create permission for Public Files and Private Files, which disables Save/Save As in Data Analyzer.

1. Identify the roles assigned to affected users in Security > Users.
2. Open each relevant role in Security > Roles and review .
3. Enable Create for Public Files and Private Files within the role.
4. Save the role changes and have the user re-login to validate that Save and Save As are now enabled in Data Analyzer.
5. Alternatively, assign BI CONTENT CREATOR role that includes Create permissions for Public and Private Files by default.
